Brett Gets Baptized!

Today, I was officially baptized!! What better day to do it than Easter Sunday? I got baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Chapin today! The same place that Heidi got baptized in 2009! It was so fun. I was sleepy but I stayed awake long enough to go up front and let Pastor Dave wash my head with some water. Which was great since Heidi spilled apple juice on it this morning! But anyway, I was a big hit. I knocked them all out with my little shy smile and showed off some of my modeling looks to the crowd. I had them on the edge of their seats. Heidi wanted to act up a little bit up at the altar in front of everyone, but she stayed good long enough for me to get baptized. I got a candle, and a certificate and a little trinket. Now I am in a new family. I was worried, because I kind of like my current family pretty well, but they say I get to keep them. I just get added into a family with Jesus! Which is cool!! Because Jesus is awesome! So anyway, I got baptized and went back to the pew and took a nice nap on Mommy's lap. What a perfect day!

Hands On Children's Gallery

In Hendersonville, they have this cool kid's place called Hand's On Children's Gallery. There is so many fun things to do. I really enjoyed the slide, but what I liked most of all was the baby nursery. I got a baby and rode her around in a stroller for like forever. Then I went back to the nursery and sat in a rocking chair and held my baby in a blanket and read her a book. I am going to be a wonderful Mommy one day, just like my Mommy. We had such a fun, awesome vacation! I hope we get to go somewhere again soon. I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about driving toward Minnesota to meet Grandmommy and Granddaddy Bollo soon! I hope we get to go! I can't wait!

Gem Mining

After our trip to the waterfall, we stopped to go Gem Mining at a place called Elijah Mountain Gem Mining. It was on the road between Brevard and Hendersonville. We got a bucket full of dirt and minerals and went to sifting. Mommy and Heidi found some decent jewels. I decided I needed some minerals in my diet, so I ate some dirt. Needless to say minerals may be good for you, but they are not tasty!

Such a Long Walk!

It's such a long walk up these steps! Can't we just stop and take a break!! It must be like one million steps! Wait? What am I talking about? I have all the energy in the world! I am just teasing you guys! Let's go!!

Me and Mommy!

I was really enthused by the waterfall too, but mainly I just wanted to get out of the car and run around! If Mommy and Daddy hadn't kept an eye on me, I would have jumped right over the rail into the water. I am such a little firecracker!! But I did stop just long enough to take this picture with Mommy! Isn't she the most beautiful woman ever?

Looking Glass Falls

After Pumpkintown, we drove through Brevard, NC and took a detour through the Pisgah National Forest. There was an awesome waterfall right off the road called Looking Glass Falls. It was really tall and loud. I really enjoyed it and stared at it in amazement. Me and Daddy posed for a picture here. I love my Daddy!

Pumpkintown!

On our way to the mountains for the weekend! But first, a quick stop in Pumpkintown, SC! Mommy and Daddy stopped at Pumpkintown a few years ago when Daddy was courting Mommy. So we revisted it on Friday and stopped at the Pumpkintown Mountain Opry for lunch. Mommy and Daddy really enjoy it there, so we acted like we liked it too. As you can see in these photos!

Sprinkling the Garden

Mom and Dad call it watering the garden, but I call it Sprinkling the Garden. And it's very important to do to make sure your plants get enough nourishment. Water and sunshine are the 2 main ingredients to having a wonderful garden. I will help supply the water, and Jesus supplies the rest!

Planting the Garden!

Spring has Sprung! That mean's it's time to go to Lowe's and get all of our planting needs. We've decided to grow only fruits and vegetables this year. We've got broccoli, lettuce, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, corn, green beans, cucumber, watermelon, and canteloupe. Hopefully it will come up. With me and Brett spearheading this whole gardening process, everything should be sprouting up any time now!

Working From Home

That's just me catching up on some work. Busy business men like me have to use 2 laptops in order to get all of my work done. You may be asking, who is the doll under my laptop? Well, that's just my secretary. She's on break taking a nap.

Splashing Water

They had this cool water feature at the museum and Me and Brett played with each other. We splashed water on each other and had a jolly good ol time. I love my little brother. He is the best little brother in the whole wide world!

Lowcountry Children's Museum

After a long day at the beach, we decided to take it inside and go to the Lowcountry Children's Museum in downtown Charleston. They had this cool exhibit where you can dress up like Pirates. It was all fun and games, until they strapped a ball and chain onto my ankle and stuck me and Heidi in prison. As you can see, we didn't find it humorous at all!

Charleston Harbor

After we left Fort Moultrie, we took a little walk on the beach at the opening of the Charleston Harbor. In the first picture, you can actually see the city of Charleston in the background. It was a little cold out there, and the water was very rough, but it was fun chasing the birds and looking at seashells. Brett was taking a nap in the stroller, but I enjoyed spending time watching the ocean and all it's surroundings.

Fort Moultrie

After we went to the beach, we drove over to Fort Moultrie which is on the end of Sullivan's Island. During the Revolutionary War while they were still building Fort Moultrie, British ships trying to sail into the Charleston Harbor attacked Fort Moultrie, but since the fort was built out of palmetto logs, the cannon balls couldn't penetrate the walls. They just bounced off back into the water. America finally won the battle, and this is how South Carolina was nick named the Palmetto State. (We learned all of this while at Fort Moultrie.) Heidi actually got into a battle herself when she was a casualty to a rough sidewalk. The rough sidewalk won, leaving her with a scuffed up knee. But we won the war when we mounted this huge cannon, saving America, thus becoming war heroes!

So Windy!

Look at these pictures and you can see how windy it was! We were trying to squint our eyes so we wouldn't get sand in them! But we had fun anyway. We are glad Mommy and Daddy take us to all these cool places!

Mommy and Me!

Mommy wanted to take me out into the water but I was like "Mommy, that water is way to cold and choppy!" After a few minutes, I finally talked her out of it! Just kidding, Mommy loves me and she was just sharing a special moment with me. I will always cherish all the moments I get to spend with Mommy. Not every little baby girl gets sent down to earth to live with an angel. But I am one of the lucky ones! :-)

Going to Sullivan's Island

We all went to Sullivan's Island a few weeks ago. I decided we needed a weekend getaway, so I told Daddy to book a reservation and we just took off and went. We drove down to the beach access and walked on down to the beach. It was very pretty, but it was very windy. I thought we were in Chicago for a minute because it was a very windy city. We walked on the beach for a few minutes. It was fun!!
