My Gymnastics Birthday Party!

When I turned 2 last month, I had an awesome gymnastics birthday party at Crooked Creek Park. We got to play gymnastics for an hour, and then we had snacks and got to play in the jump castle and then got to eat cake and ice cream. It was so fun to be able to turn two!! I can't wait for number 3! (And yes, Elmo and Big Bird are travelling from the finish line to the start line in my cake. They were disoriented that day I guess?!)

Just Chilling!

Trashing the Hotel

Like most rock and rolling party-goers do, we trashed our hotel room. When Mommy and Daddy weren't paying attention to me, I bet Heidi that she wouldn't unroll all the toilet paper....and of course she did! So I owe her big time! Oh by the way, we don't wear pacifiers anymore like depicted in the above picture! We are way too cool for that!

Celebrating my Birthday in Indianapolis!

We also got to celebrate my birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Bollo in Indianapolis. It was only a few days before I turned 2, so we had a little impromptu party and I got to open presents! I got a cool Dora guitar, and some Dora diapers, and a little cow tea cup set, and some other stuff too. And so Brett wouldn't get upset, (because we know how he gets so emotional) he got a cool little baseball set with a bat and ball. It was fun spending my birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Bollo. They are probably in my Top 2 of favorite Grandparent Duos! They baked me cupcakes and we ordered pizza and broke into a conference room in the hotel and partied until the wee hours of the night (7:00pm.) We did have to give the lady at the front desk some hush-cupcakes so she wouldn't kick us out. Oh, Memories!

Wineries in Indianapolis!

While we were in Indianapolis, a favorite pastime of our family is going to wineries so Mommy can drown all of her sorrows in alcohol when she is feeling in the pits. These pictures were taken when we were at Buck Creek Winery right outside of Indianapolis.

Heidi: I got to go run outside with Daddy because I couldn't handle myself inside. I was probably going to break a wine glass or something.

Brett: I got to stay inside with Mommy and Grandma and Grandpa Bollo as we tasted wine. My favorite was the raspberry wine!

Heidi: You didn't get any wine, you are too young!

Brett: Yes I did! Ask Mommy!

Heidi: Mommy, that's not fair! You never let me drink!

Daddy: Heidi and Brett! You kids stop arguing right now! Jennifer, put down that glass of wine and help me control these kids!

(No kids were harmed in the posting of this blog.)

My New Best Friend!

This picture was from when we were in Indianapolis a few weeks ago. I met my new best friend then. He was a cool, awesome looking guy that shared some similar characteristics as me. We played around with each other and then I gave him a high five (as pictured.) It's fun making new friends, escpecially when they are cool like me!

I Dressed All By Myself!

Lately, I have been getting dressed on my own to save Mommy and Daddy some time in the morning so they won't be late for work. I have designed my own wardrobe and color schemes and everyone seems to think it quite stylish. Today, I have chosen the hot and trendy "pantless" look to go along with my green and polka-dotted low-cut unbuttoned blousey top. If you look closely, on my upper left arm I am sporting my new bicep watch. It's a flashy sterling silver and brings all your attention to my upper body, where you can noticed my untouched bed-headed hair do. Also another time saving venture for those mornings when we are running late (every morning!) For my socks and shoes today, I have chosen my father's ankle socks worn backwards, always a hot fashion statement for toddlers, who like to wear them as tube socks to help cover the scratches on my knees from falling down. Finished off with the timeless look of my mother's boat shoes (on the wrong feet of course) as if I were spending a day out on our sailboat. Not one fashion faux pas in this wardrobe again today. Check me out in the upcoming weeks on a runway in Milan!

Pickin' My Garden!

Since we've had some nice rain over the past week, our garden is really coming into fruition. That being said, I took it upon myself to go and pick some tomatoes. May they be red, orange, or green, I do not discriminate. I pick all colors. I go to pick a green one and Mommy and Daddy say "Heidi, NO!" yet I pick it anyway. Ever seen the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes?" That sounds tasty to me. Nonetheless, hopefully in a few weeks, I will be picking some corn!!
