Back to the Cabin

After a long day of adventures and fun, we made our way back to the cabin (shack) for a cozy evening. We all went to the bath house for showers and then settled down for a relaxing evening. I nestled in with Daddy to watch some Strawberry Shortcake and Brett cuddled with Mommy and fell asleep! Another exciting and fun vacation! We left in the morning and made it back to Milford Park all safe and sound!

Gem Mining in Cherokee

After we left Bryson City on Saturday, we drove over to Cherokee and embarked on a gem mining mission. I have come to really love gem mining, because the minerals are so essential for your diet, and they are tasty as well. They taste and look like chocolate. I found some pretty cool gems and an arrowhead, but Heidi found the best gem of all! (pictured) We think it is a 18 carat diamond in the rough! The guy working there said it was just a piece of gravel. But what does he know? If he knew any better, he wouldn't be working at a gem mining place. So we are going to get it appraised and we are hoping it will bring 12-13 million dollars. I am going to use the money to purchase a vat of fresh milk!!

WE SAW THOMAS!

We actually got to take pictures with Thomas the Train. We don't even really know who he is, but he is supposedly famous and all the little kids love to see him. You'd think he was Justin Bieber or something. Anyway, here's proof!

I Love Thomas!

Riding on Thomas the Train was so fun! They let you run up and down the aisles and jump over the seats and lean out the window and throw your shoes into the river off the bridge and all kind of fun things. When my ride was over, they gave me a certificate that said I was an official train engineer!! Thomas needed to go a little faster though, I think he went to slow!! Chugga Chugga CHOO CHOO!!!!

Riding on Thomas the Train!

It was finally time for our train to leave the station after a fun day at the festival. Me and Mommy and Daddy and Heidi boarded Thomas the Train for a luxurious ride through the mountains. I got a seat to myself, but I decided to move around a little since some of the seats were empty. It was fun staring out of the window and looking at the river and the landscapes. I think one day I may become a train conductor. By the way, Heidi is wild on trains. She can't sit still. Well, she is actually like that wherever she goes. Oh well, we had fun!

My First Tattoo!

After the big slide, I needed to rest a moment. What better way than to sit back, relax, and get my first tattoo! I chose to get the pink Thomas the Train tattoo. I chose a tattoo specialist to design and apply my tattoo. As you can see, it's pretty awesome. Brett got one too. He got a blue Thomas the Train tattoo. We were pretty tough looking kids with our tattoos. But, we later decided to get laser removals on our tattoos, so they are gone now.

The Big Slide!

In Bryson City, North Carolina last weekend, we went to the Thomas the Train Festival. It was VERY fun! The first thing that I saw that I wanted to do was slide down the big slide. You had to climb a pretty steep ladder, so Daddy helped me. Then I got to the top and Mommy motioned for me to slide down. It looked so exciting. About halfway down, I decided I was scared, as you can see. Final result, I was a little scared, but I think I will try it again in the future!

Brett at the Zoo!

I got to ride around in the stroller most of the time at the zoo, until we got to the penguin house. I love those penguins man!! I wanted to jump out of my stroller and go swimming in the frigid waters with them!! The are so fast and agile, like my father when he was an athelete. One day I will be a sports star like my Daddy! Or at least he tells me he was. I believe pretty much anything anyone tells me though! What can I say, I am a gullible toddler!

Heidi at the Zoo!

We got to go the zoo again the other morning before it got too hot. It was really fun. Daddy rode me on his shoulders and we got to see fun animals like giraffes and elephants!!
