Ocean View

Sometimes it's nice to just stare at the ocean rolling in and out. The view is so hypnotizing. Watching the people walk by. There's something so serene about it. Wait a minute, I am only like 15 months old. Do I really know what "serene" means. I think not.

She Thinks She is a Cowgirl.

Heidi thinks she is a cowgirl. Little does she know that Cowgirls actually ride horses, not cows. She is a do-do head sometimes. But I love her. Like only a little brother could. Bless her little heart.

The Ocean is Scary!!

In the past, I have loved the ocean, but lately, since I am in a phase where I am scared of some things, the ocean has jumped into my list of things I am scared of. I love the sand, and I love the beach, and I love looking at the waves, but I am just scared of getting in the water. I don't know if it is the sounds of the waves, or the overall frightening largeness of the ocean, but I'm a little scared. So I need a little help when I get near the water. That's what Daddy's for. Brett was a little scared too, but he managed to get his feet wet with the help of Mommy. I think he liked it a little bit actually. Maybe next trip, I will be over my fears and hop on in!

Sandy Bottoms!

We loved getting out and playing in the sand. Our favorite part of going to the beach is to enjoy the freedom of running around and just playing in the sand. The weather was amazing (a little windy) and the sun was shining and we were just loving life!

Breakfast on the Balcony!

One of our beach traditions is sharing breakfast on balcony watching the ocean. We usually enjoy Krispy Kreme doughnuts and apple juice and other various provisions. This year was no different. I ate all of Daddy's doughnuts (and even Mommy's chocolate covered custard filled one's) and enjoyed the sunrise. Brett isn't as much of a morning person, and was feeling a little under the weather, so he just took in the sunrise. What a morning!

The Eggy Things

These are the YokoOno Egg Boxes. I am not really sure what they are called, because all the packaging is in Japanese. They kind of work, but then again, they don't quite work. Hopefully they will taste ok. We don't want to hear "Heidi no like."

Homeschool.

Since I got suspended from school today (because of a fever, albeit slightly over 100) I had to have homeschool with Da-Da so I won't fall too far behind. In real school we learn boring things like colors and letters and all, but at Da-Da school, we learn cool things like sports and soccer and watching ESPN. Da-Da is the best. I think I want to have homeschool with Da-Da every day! Plus we get to go have lunch with Mommy in a little bit. This is going to be awesome!!
