Make Up!

 

With Halloween approaching and me getting to that age where I need to be amazingly beautiful, I have begun putting make up on.  As you can see, I have a pretty good grasp as to how it works.  The color of the day was blue, which is going to work well with my mermaid outfit. I think it looks great!

Trick or Treat!

 

We went trick or treating in our neighborhood on Halloween night.  We got sooo much candy.  We walked and rode the wagon with Isabel and when the people at the houses tried to give us a piece or 2 of candy, we said "MORE. WE WANT MORE" and they gave us more.  Because when a giraffe wants something, a giraffe gets something.  Halloween is so awesome!

Life's a Beach

We went to the beach a couple weekends ago.  Myrtle Beach to be exact!  We got to walk out into the waves and play in the sand and find seashells too!  It was so fun!  Let's go again!!

Reading

Me and Brett were reading the other day.  As you can see, I was teaching him how to read, but he was trying to read like it was Braille.  We will learn one day!  By the way, the book we were reading was "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens.  It's a decent little book.

Noodle Heads

We are silly noodle heads. Sometimes we don't listen and we put our dinner on our heads instead of eating it. I bet you thought we would never blog again. As it goes, we were just waiting for a momentuous occasion to post something. As you can see, this was just that occasion. Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy were really proud of us.

The New Pink Pool!

We got a new pink pool the other day when it was really warm outside. It is very fun to play in! Since Daddy broke the water hose too, we get to drink water out of the water hose. Which we find really amusing!!! We love the pink pool and want to play in it all hours of the day, even when the sun is asleep!

My First Night in My Big Boy Bed!

I graduated out of the crib (for the most part) the other day. So now I am in a little toddler's bed right beside Heidi. I am doing ok. Making progress. It's still a tough job with so many distractions out there (including Heidi!) But she is usually a good girl and doesn't bother me, I am just working through some things to try to become the best big bed kid sleeper I can be!

Milford Park Egg Hunt

Last weekend, our community had an Easter Egg Hunt. As you can see, we pretty much dominated and got all the eggs. We are on the road to becoming professional egg hunters. We are like egg paleontologists or archeologists or whatever you call them when it comes to finding eggs. I found the most eggs and I found the prize egg and won a $10 gift card to Target, so I went to Target and bought more eggs. It was a hard fought battle down to the last egg, but I beat Brett to it and got it. Brett got so mad that he threw his basket of eggs in the air and stomped off. It was a very competitive environment out there. It was just preparation for bigger egg hunts yet to come.

A Day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo last weekend and they were having their Spring Arts Festival. So we got to see animals and do crafts! And run around like crazy! It was fun and it was a nice day outside! We go to the zoo quite frequently because we basically own it!!

A few weeks ago we went to the beach at Hilton Head. The water was a little cold, but it was nice and sunny out there, so we decided to make a day out of it. As you can see, I took my bucket and went to the water. I tried a little clam digging. To no avail. I chased birds. Didn't catch any. Mom and Dad said I would get some sun, but I never did get it. All I came back with was a bunch of sand. But I had tons of fun out there!! I am officiallu a Beach Boy!!

At the Bluffton Pier

We finally made it to the little beach! And it was time for a nice little walk to the pier. It was cool and breezy and we got to walk around a little bit and stretch our legs. Such a nice weekend! We are such a crazy little sister/brother tandem. I don't know how our parents are going to handle us as we grow up. We have total control of them. It's a good relationship. We tell them what we want, and if we don't get it, we scream and cry until we do. Later this night, we went for ice cream. You wanna know how we did it? Just tell us no, we'll show you!!

On Our Way to the Little Beach!

We were well on our way to the little beach a few weeks ago. (The little beach is Bluffton) It's a quite long trip, not as long as Minnesota, but still long enough to get a good nap in. And that's just what I did. Me and my best buddy Isabel. She napped on my lap as I napped. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz.......

Planting our pre-Garden

Me and Mommy decided to pre-plant our garden a few weeks ago before it got warm. So we got some seeds and planted them and watered them so they would be ready for the big garden in the spring. They began to grow and they were thriving. Then we went to Minnesota, and when we got home, they didn't look so good. Currently, they are on life support, but we will see what happens!

Art Time!

From time to time we venture out to the pack patio for some art adventures. This day, we did some finger/water painting. We basically just made some masterpieces that will one day be sold for tens of thousands of dollars. Then we later ripped them up, because hey, who needs money when we have Mommy and Daddy!

The Waterfall!

After the cave we walked over to the waterfall. It was so loud and pretty (and cold) but we loved looking at it. The power and natural beauty were so amazing. We wanted to go jump into it but it was a such a long fall. I hope we can go back soon!

The Cave!

We all went to the cave a few weekends ago. It was very cold and wet and icy, but Mommy promised us there were no bears in there. Or Bats. It was fun walking in the tunnel (cave) but we were a little scared at first. We were all equipped with our flashlights (and Teddy Grahams) but it was so very dark in there. We stopped for some fun pictures in there as well! Brett was trying to act like a Bear in one of them to scare away the other bears. It was nice when we got back outside, but we wanted to go back in and explore some more!

We do actually sleep sometimes. It's when we are at our finest.

Moisturizing

They say the best wrinkle treatment is to keep your skin moisturized. And to start early. We are definitely taking heed to this advice. While Mommy and Daddy were getting ready for work, we got ready and we moisturized. We made sure that our hands and faces were nicely lathered up for the day. We are a walking advertisement for Avon. And now Mommy is out $15 bucks for her Avon Rejuvination Creme!
