Mommy's Return Home

When Mommy came back from Charleston the other week, we had prepared a "Welcome Home Mommy" sign for her, and we made her cupcakes. Before she had barely walked in the door, we snatched up all 4 cupcakes and ate them. We love Mommy....but we REALLY love cupcakes. We stayed up all night too.

Breakfast!

I guess Mommy and Daddy forgot about me this morning, so I had to go and find my own breakfast! I rummaged through the pantry and chose this awesome cereal over some of Daddy's Pop Tarts and Mommy's toast. It's not all that bad, and the whole box is MINE. Well, mine and Isabel's. We share most of the time. Yummy!!!

Broccoli Heads!

We are messy eaters. But today, we are simultaneously messy eaters. We usually throw our broccoli on the floor for the dog to eat, but today, we tried to hide it on our heads. Well, you live and learn. Turns out hiding things on your head isn't a good hiding spot. Oh well!!! Maybe one day we will eat our broccoli!! Until then, we must look for creative places to hide it!
Please Mom and Dad, don't feed us broccoli any more. I mean c'mon, look at the looks on our faces when we are forced to eat it!!

Go Packers!

We were all pulling for the World Champion Packers on Thursday night when they played the Saints. I even wore my Packers jersey! It was so awesome when Aaron Rodgers threw those 3 Touchdown passes in the first quarter. I think Mom and Dad decided to change my brother's name to Aaron Alexander Dempsey Riddle!!! It will be a true test when the Packers play the Bears......or will it?

Back to the Cabin

After a long day of adventures and fun, we made our way back to the cabin (shack) for a cozy evening. We all went to the bath house for showers and then settled down for a relaxing evening. I nestled in with Daddy to watch some Strawberry Shortcake and Brett cuddled with Mommy and fell asleep! Another exciting and fun vacation! We left in the morning and made it back to Milford Park all safe and sound!

Gem Mining in Cherokee

After we left Bryson City on Saturday, we drove over to Cherokee and embarked on a gem mining mission. I have come to really love gem mining, because the minerals are so essential for your diet, and they are tasty as well. They taste and look like chocolate. I found some pretty cool gems and an arrowhead, but Heidi found the best gem of all! (pictured) We think it is a 18 carat diamond in the rough! The guy working there said it was just a piece of gravel. But what does he know? If he knew any better, he wouldn't be working at a gem mining place. So we are going to get it appraised and we are hoping it will bring 12-13 million dollars. I am going to use the money to purchase a vat of fresh milk!!
